byrd clinic details

Thank you for your interest in organizing a clinic for your group! I am thrilled to offer my coaching services and help your players improve their skills and tactics.

With 6 years of experience teaching clinics, I provide a dynamic and engaging 3-hour session filled with custom drills, tactics, and skills. My goal is to help participants not only “learn” new skills and tactics, but also “feel” them in action, so they can commit them to muscle memory.

During the clinic, I also work individually with each participant, providing suggestions for improvement in grip, body mechanics, and approach to the ball. My clinics are designed for 3 courts and 12 players with a skill level of 3.0+; the sweet spot is the 4.0 player, and I have also helped many 4.5 players improve their game.

As a 5.0 player and pickleball coach, my goal is to share the skills and tactics that have helped me succeed at the highest level of play. During my clinics, I aim to create an immersive experience that allows participants to truly understand what it’s like to compete at this level, so they can integrate these techniques into their regular game.

My clinics are priced in the range of $50 per participant for the 3-hour session and typically sell out within 2 days of announcement because they are affordably priced, have effective themes, and are loads of fun for everyone.

I handle sales, registration, and clinic communication from my website and booking service, and all I need are courts, dates, and a method to market my clinic through your member email list. Scroll below for two recent examples of my clinics.

Best regards,

Hey BYRD! Gotta thank you one more time for the super fab clinic today! Been making notes, trying to remember the best I can….but have to say….you were fabulous! As a teacher myself, I recognize that the ability to actually TEACH is totally different than the ability and skill set a person has that enables spectacular play. You have captured the art of teaching and harnessed the ability to communicate…optimal attributes for a great coach! And you are!

Ann

Thanks for a great (and, more importantly, fun) clinic! I look forward to the next one.

Kathy

Byrd has a distinct talent to asses the range of skills of everyone in his small clinic and work to elevate their unique game rather than a one-size-fits-all approach to the game. Both his direct feedback, as well as his joy of players and game, will stick. This was the first clinic that challenged how I think about the game and I am quite delighted when I am challenged.
